So I definitely just drove to Walmart to pick up my blu-ray/dvd combo copy of Ponyo when it released at midnight. :) I am such a nerd. :heart:

With two of my six summer school classes out of the way, I have been debating what to do with the month I am not in classes. I am currently in a "Technology in the Classroom" class, so I'll be building a professional website in the class and I'm sure I'll touch that up in my free time. I'm also planning on sewing some new stuff for belegath. I actually hope to start on my hakama skirt over the Fourth of July weekend. But more later, now to share my deviantART page with the class. :P

And apparently, so does the rest of dA. There is a fine line between artistic nudity and pornography, and I am extremely disappointed in dA's definition of these genres. Yes, the human body is beautiful and should be celebrated, but I don't think dA is the best medium for this. Not to mention that there is a ridiculous double-standard on nudity that is blatantly apparent here- a penis equals ZOMG INAPPROPRIATE!!!!!!!; a vagina- true art. Um, what? Then there's the fact a photograph of a two women on top of each other, entirely naked, in a clearly sexual position is A-OK by dA standards, but if a man and woman were in the same position-- or
